The March Dodson & Horrell Employee of the Month award has been presented to Natalie Parker. The award recognises and celebrates the hard work and dedication that the staff at 11-time Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls’ yard put in to get the horses to the track in peak condition. Harry Derham, Assistant Trainer and his panel of selectors, which includes pupil Assistant, Charlie Davies, chose the winner and Harry presented the prize.
Harry commented, “Natalie is in her third season with us as Pupil Assistant Trainer and is a very deserved winner of the March Employee of the Month award for her hard work and dedication.
Natalie’s daily routine is fairly relentless helping in the yard first thing, riding four lots each morning which include the likes of Hitman, Fidelio Vallis and her favourite Silver Forever. Her afternoons can include taking horses off in the horsebox to the water treadmill, to the vets or to the races when required.
On top of this in her lunch “break” Natalie each day assists Sam Loxton with riding out his point to pointers, so she really doesn’t get much rest!”
