The third Dodson & Horrell Employee of the Month award has been presented to 31-year-old Scott Marshall. The award was set up to recognise the hard work and dedication that the staff at 10-time Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls’ yard put in to get the horses to the track in peak condition. Harry Derham, Assistant Trainer and panel selected the winner and presented the award. The winner receives a Dodson & Horrell gilet and a £30 gift voucher, both courtesy of Dodson & Horrell.
“Scott has been with us since 2014 and has really stepped up this season, taking on more responsibility. He has now started driving to and representing us at the races, which he does brilliantly. He is a popular lad and sets a good example to the rest of the staff. He has done really well riding some quite difficult horses and is very quiet with them, which is exactly what they need. He embodies what this award has been set up to recognise and I am pleased to present it to him,” commented Harry.
“I am really pleased to get this award and to have my hard work recognised is brilliant,” commented Scott.
Scott looks after the following horses:
Ptit Zig (FR)
Saphir Du Rheu (FR)
Dynamite Dollars (FR)
Amour De Nuit (IRE)
