After last season’s fantastic success of the 18 Goal Dodson & Horrell ladies polo team winning the Vixtrix Ludorum, Dodson & Horrell is now building on its involvement in the polo world and have committed to supporting the Ladies Polo Foundation.
The Foundation was set up to provide the training tools to the younger polo generation allowing them to maximise their potential within the sport.
At present, the UK is fortunate to have some of the best female polo players in the world and the foundation aims to spot talent early on and support players by giving them training opportunities. In addition, the foundation will help support injured women from the armed forces who, through polo, have regained their health and independence following significant injuries.
“The Ladies Polo Foundation supports every woman who is passionate about polo and with training from the best players in the world, dreams can become reality. We are hugely grateful for Dodson & Horrell’s support, not just for the foundation but to ladies polo as a sport,” commented Founder, Hannah Henderson.
Sam Horrell, CEO at Dodson & Horrell added, “We are passionate about offering our support to foundations like this and are pleased to be able to help talented polo players gain the right training and opportunities. We look forward to seeing the foundation progress over the next year and hope that it encourages more to take up the sport.”
