The March Dodson & Horrell Employee of the Month award has been presented to Alfie Shalliker. The award recognises and celebrates the hard work and dedication that the staff at 12-time Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls’ yard put in to get the horses to the track in peak condition. Charlie Davies, Assistant Trainer and his panel of selectors chose the winner and Charlie presented the prize.
Charlie commented, “Alfie joined us in August of last year and has really progressed well with both his work in the yard and his riding. His riding has improved every day and from riding the quieter horses when he first started, he is now riding some more challenging types including a few of our newly into training four year olds. He has a great attitude and real willingness to learn, we feel he is a very worthy winner of the award for March.”
