Victor was born in Luxembourg into an equestrian family, his parents being renowned breeders who instilled in their sons and daughter the passion for horses from an early age. Although his first rides were actually on motorbikes rather than horses, his competitive spirit took Victor to engage in showjumping and he soon found himself training and competing through the levels.

From the pony classes at the European Championships to producing his first horse Sorbier Blanc, Victor developed a passion that has seen him through Nations Cups, European Championships and many five star circuits internationally. Having trained horses in Germany, Victor has been based in Normandy for the past five years.

Haras de la Roque is now his home place, where the Hecart family support Victor in training and producing winning horses year-round. Victor is currently placed 73rd on the FEI ranking, competing for Luxembourg, and he is working towards a place in the Paris Olympics.
