I have been a vet for nearly ten years now, seven of which I spent working in equine practice between Europe and the UK. Over the past three years I have transitioned into technical advisor roles in the equine industry, however my goal has remained the same – to provide science-based and sound advice on how to provide horses with the best care possible. Whilst I have always had a keen interest in equine medicine, nutrition has always been a particular focus for me both as an equine vet and a horse owner. Good nutrition may not always be the ultimate factor in the horse’s wellbeing and performance, but it is a key element in their foundation.

In my new role at Dodson & Horrell, I aim to become a first point of contact for our international customers on any relevant queries, from technical information and supply of D&H feeds to marketing support, to approaching the nutritional management of all horses – from top performance ones to horses with special nutritional needs. I look forward to meeting our international customers and business partners and to getting to know how I can best support them in their journey, based on their specific needs which vary from country to country and across the different equestrian disciplines.
