When Dodson & Horrell committed to extending its support of the British Dressage Novice Championships for another three years in 2013, it became one of the longest running sponsors in the history of British Dressage. The Novice Championships at restricted and open level are two of the hardest fought classes of the season. Between December 1 and the end of May there are over 1,000 Dodson & Horrell novice qualifiers. These are followed by seven regional championships with more than 600 horse and rider combinations competing for a place at the prestigious championships that are held each year at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire in September.
These National Championships see riders from across the levels, from novice to grand prix, converge for a four-day dressage extravaganza that is the pinnacle of the national dressage calendar. With something for everybody - from top class competition to numerous tradestands and displays – this show is a favourite for both riders and spectators.
We are immensely proud of our association with the National Championships and with our qualifiers open to about two thirds of British Dressage’s membership - or some 7000 horse - the name Dodson & Horrell has become synonymous with British Dressage.
